Jakarta's three-wheeled transportation "Becak"

Becak is a three-wheeled transportation mode commonly found in Indonesia and also in parts of Asia. The normal capacity of a rickshaw is two passengers and a driver. Becoming a pedicab driver is one way to get an easy income, so that the number of pedicab drivers in areas with high unemployment can be very high, and will cause various traffic complexities. Because of that, pedicabs were banned in Jakarta around the end of the 1980s. The official reason, among other things, was that pedicabs displayed "human exploitation of humans". In the Jatiasih and Cibubur areas, pedicabs are called by the name of the train, in Jonggol, pedicabs are called kreta panumpang and in Depok are called bicak names.
